PET Strapping

PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) strapping is a high-strength, lightweight, and durable plastic strapping solution designed for securing medium to heavy palletized loads. With excellent resistance to UV, moisture, and chemicals, PET straps are ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications. It is recyclable and environmentally friendly.

Tensile Strength: 200–300 MPa

Elongation at Break: 50–150%

Modulus of Elasticity: 2800–3100 MPa

Operating Temperature Range: -40°C to +70°C

UV Resistance: Excellent

Moisture & Chemical Resistance: High

Density: 1.38–1.40 g/cm³

Surface Hardness: High; resists abrasion and slippage

Applications:

Advantages:

  • Stronger than PP in tensile and impact resistance

Limitations:

  • Not recommended for extremely heavy-duty loads (over 500 kg)

  • Can deform at high temperatures (above 70°C)
